GPS Roles and Responsibilities

Conducts research and develops applications of GPS technology in support of USDA agency missions and activities.
Integrates GPS with cartography, remote sensing, and geographic information systems as a function of the Geospatial Line of Business.
Promotes the use of GPS for precision agriculture, sustaining natural resources, fire protection and suppression, and supporting implementation of the Farm Bill.
