This presentation provides information on the U.S. GPS modernization program, the NextGen navigation system strategy, the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS), joint U.S.-EU studies of Advanced RAIM (ARAIM), Ground Based Augmentation Systems (GBAS), Alternative Positioning, Navigation and Timing (APNT), the National Differential Global Positioning System (NDGPS), and U.S. efforts to establish complementary PNT capabilities.
