Fixing Rideshare and Food Delivery Issues

Uber and UberEats get their address information from Google Maps. 

To fix an Uber or UberEats delivery address

1. Open the Google Maps app.
2. Search for the address you want to fix.
3. Tap Suggest an Edit and then Fix an Address.
4. Move the map to the center of the building.
5. Enter the address information.
6. Tap Submit.

To add a new address to Uber or UberEats

1. Open the Google Maps app.
2. Search for the address you want to fix.
3. Tap Contribute and then Update Address.
4. Move the map to the center of the building.
5. Enter the address information.
6. Tap Submit.

Google also has ways for you to add or fix a road and to add a missing place.

Lyft gets its address information from OpenStreetMap (OSM). 

To fix a Lyft address

1. Go to openstreetmap.org and zoom to the location that needs to be updated.
2. Sign into your OpenStreetMap account, or create a new account if you don't already have one.
3. Select the Edit button at the top of the screen.
4. Click on the line that represents your street.
5. On the left-hand side, all the data of this street is shown and you can correct the name.
6. Hit You will need to create an account if you have not done so yet. on the top right.
7. Enter a comment explaining the change you have made.
8. Select Upload.

OR

1. Go to openstreetmap.org and zoom to the location that needs to be updated.
2. Sign into your OpenStreetMap account, or create a new account if you don't already have one.
3. From the tools menu on the right, select Add a note to the map.
4. Move the map marker to the location of the street that needs to be updated.
5. Add a comment explaining what needs to be changed or updated. Be as detailed as possible.
6. Select Add Note.

Once a change is submitted to OpenStreetMap, it can take up to a few weeks for Lyft to update.

GrubHub gets its address information from Google Maps. 

To fix a GrubHub delivery address

1. Open the Google Maps app.
2. Search for the address you want to fix.
3. Tap Suggest an Edit and then Fix an Address.
4. Move the map to the center of the building.
5. Enter the address information.
6. Tap Submit.

To add a new GrubHub delivery address

1. Open the Google Maps app.
2. Search for the address you want to fix.
3. Tap Contribute and then Update Address.
4. Move the map to the center of the building.
5. Enter the address information.
6. Tap Submit.

DoorDash gets its address information from Google Maps and Mapbox.

To fix a DoorDash delivery address

1. Open the Google Maps app.
2. Search for the address you want to fix.
3. Tap Suggest an Edit and then Fix an Address.
4. Move the map to the center of the building.
5. Enter the address information.
6. Tap Submit.

To add a new DoorDash delivery address

1. Open the Google Maps app.
2. Search for the address you want to fix.
3. Tap Contribute and then Update Address.
4. Move the map to the center of the building.
5. Enter the address information.
6. Tap Submit.
7. Visit the Mapbox website.
8. Click the Contribute in the top left corner.
9. Select Address.
10. Add the new address.
11. Click Submit.
